Joseph F. “Beno” Casamento

1934  –  2026

Passed away on Sunday,  May 17 at the age of 92. He is the beloved husband and best friend for 62 years, of Carole (née Tennessen).

Joe was the last surviving member of his immediate family, which included his parents, Francesco and Providenza; his siblings, Josephine, Carmelo, and Katherine; and his half-brother Phil and half-sister Prudence.

Through marriage, Joe became a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Patti and Dick Beyer and their children. He also dearly loved his canine companions—Frisco, Cinders, CoCo, and currently Daisy. Joe is also survived by many dear friends, relatives, and neighbors.

Visitation Friday, May 22, 2026 at Three Holy Women Parish – St. Rita Church 1617 N. Cass Street Milwaukee, WI 53202, from 9:00 AM  until 10:45 AM, Funeral Mass to Follow at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials  to  Three Holy Women Parish or the Wisconsin Humane Society.
