One of the finest human beings I have ever known! I am going to miss his laugh and love for rock and roll. Nothing was more important to John than his family – they were his life and reason for being. Peace John…..

    The Broken Chain
    By Ron Tranmer

We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you
    But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

    You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.

    Our family chain is broken
    and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
    the chain will link again.

I had the pleasure of knowing John through him frequenting the store I work at. One day he came running in to help me close my moonroof. In the middle of a huge downpour of rain. He was soaked but joked it Off! What a kind, funny and honest man he was! From the first time I chatted with him I instantly felt like I knew him a long time! He would always make me laugh with something 😆 he also loved to chat about music and was someone I could connect with music trivia. Also a fan of Here Come the Mummies band,, we had made plans till they rain washed it out! John, I know you are in that special place where kind and hardworking people go.
