Jeanine M. Oshkenaniew-Hernandez

Passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2026, at the age of 65. Devoted mom of the late Justin Oshkenaniew, Jesusita Guerra, Dannette (Enrique) Lopez, and Ana Hernandez. Loving grandma “Honey” to Juan Martinez Jr., Andre Monge, Elizabeth Monge, Enrique Lopez Jr., and Michael Hernandez. Sister of Birdie Decorah, Kevin Decorah, Mitchell Oshkenaniew, and Michael Oshkenaniew. Preceded in death by her parents Mitchell and Betty Oshkenaniew (Decorah). Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeanine was a woman who loved deeply and cared fiercely for those around her. She was known for her strong opinions and her even stronger love. Family was always at the center of her life, and she found joy in bringing everyone together. She especially loved cooking for her family and hosting gatherings in her home. Birthdays held a special place in her heart, and she would make each person their favorite meal as a personal expression of her love. Whether she was preparing a home-cooked meal, helping someone in need, or simply enjoying time with family, Jeanine found meaning in making others feel loved and welcomed.

Her generous spirit, unforgettable personality, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
