Jeanne M.
Packee
Jeanne Mary Packee (née Scaruta), age 92, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Born on March 5, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeanne lived a long, fulfilling life rooted in family, hard work, and tradition. She is survived by her three children: Margaret Willms (James), David Packee (Suzan), and Douglas Packee (Rebecca). She leaves behind four beloved grandsons: Jonathan Willms, Kevin Willms (Amanda), Cameron Packee, and Drew Packee. Jeanne is also survived by her sister Diane Hagerstrand and brother Thomas Basile, along with many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, son Daniel, and sisters Corrinne Hoffmann, Betty Hernandez, and Barbara Jaszewski.
In the 1980s, Jeanne and her husband Harry embarked on a shared dream by founding Print-N-Press, a family-run printing business. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the business, working daily in the office for many years. Her tireless commitment helped shape Print-N-Press into a successful company.
Jeanne’s home in Oak Creek was a reflection of her vibrant spirit. She remained fiercely independent throughout her life and chose to spend her later years there, surrounded by the familiar comforts and her beloved dog, Max. Her garden bloomed each spring with peonies and came alive in summer with hydrangeas and zinnias—a testament to her love for nature and beauty.
Cooking was another of Jeanne’s great joys. She was known for hosting unforgettable family dinners, especially during the holidays. Her kitchen was often filled with the aromas of traditional Italian dishes—meals that brought loved ones together and created lasting memories.
Jeanne’s legacy is one of resilience, devotion, and warmth. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 am at Mount Olivet Cemetery 3801 W Morgan Ave. for family and friends.
I love you grandma. I know we drifted apart but I never stopped thinking about you. I’ll always be your grandson and I’ll never forget all the good times we had when I was little. I cherish those memories and will forever miss you, grandpa, and my dad.
