In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved friend, spouse, mother and grandmother. Though words cannot capture the depth of our loss, we take this moment to honor a life so richly lived and so deeply cherished.
Jane Louise Mydlowski-Sadler (née Stapleton), age 68, of Vernon, WI peacefully departed this world at home on November 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her husband and children. Born in Milwaukee, WI on December 31, 1956, to the late Jeannine and Stuart Stapleton, she brought joy, warmth, and kindness to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering courage, positive attitude, love of music and the love of God that touched countless lives.
Jane Louise Mydlowski-Sadler graduated from Marshal HS where she was an accomplished high diver and attended Milwaukee Area Technical College where she played basketball and earned an associate degree in commercial art and went on to pursue a career in the printing business. She also worked as a waitress, salesperson, customer service rep and started her own childcare business. Later in life, she attended Waukesha County Technical College where she earned certification as a Medical Assistant. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she was deeply devoted to her family cherishing every moment spent with her spouse, children, grandchildren, and other loved ones.
Outside of work she enjoyed sports including softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, skiing, swimming, paddle boarding, yoga, Zumba and many others. She received her open water SCUBA certification and enjoyed many dives with her husband and “dive buddy” George with whom she traveled extensively. A talented artist and musician, she painted under the name “JLouise,” played guitar and keyboard, and sang in her church choir.
Jane is survived by her husband George Sadler, her son Chad (Emily), daughters Krystal (Nick) and Kayla (Walli), 13 grandchildren as well as George’s five children who loved her as a mother along with extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her first husband Gregory M. Mydlowski, her sisters Anne T. Stapleton and Beth M. Stapleton and other loved ones.
A celebration of her life will be held on November 25, 2025, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Big Bend, WI beginning at 1pm followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 4pm. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and share their memories. Burial will be at 10am the following day at Holy Cross cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St Joseph’s Parish in Jane’s memory.
Jane’s light will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her. May her soul rest in peace and let Perpetual Light shine upon her.
