James W. Hadfield

February 25, 1951 — October 17, 2023

James Walter Hadfield, born February 25, 1951, passed away at the age of 72 on October 17, 2023 in Brainerd, MN.

Jim married Barbara Ann Hadfield (Kitzke) in 1972. They are both survived by their 4 children, Katherine (Brian) VanGheem, Chris (Amynda) Hadfield, Nick (Melissa) Hadfield, and Jeremy (Alexia) Hadfield, and 16 grandchildren.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his mother Eleanor Hadfield (Koeller), his father Walter John Hadfield, and his brother Walter Hadfield. He is survived by his siblings Phyllis (Edward) Petka, Eleanor Castaneda, and Richard (Celeste) Hadfield.

Jim was a 2nd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of St Henry’s Catholic Church in Monticello, Mn and St.Victor’s Catholic Church in Monroe, WI. He graduated from Minoqua High School in Minoqua, Wi and from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1971 with his Associates degree.  He worked in the refrigeration/HVAC industry as a mechanical drafter, technician, and a small business owner in Monroe, Wi. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
