Visitation/Internment: Nov. 17, 2023 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery 21731 Spring St., Union Grove, WI 53182 from 1:45 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Internment to follow.

Celebration of Life: Nov.17, 2023, The Meadows Restaurant, 10615 N. Western Ave, Franksville, WI 53126 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Arlene Ann Krueger

August 3, 1935 – October 31, 2023

 

Arlene Ann Krueger, Born August 3, 1935, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on October 31, 2023, in Caledonia, Wisconsin.

Arlene married Robert (Bob) James Krueger in 1958. She is survived by son Mark Robert Krueger and his partner Cheryl Coté; daughter Deborah Ann (Krueger) Rezell and her husband John Rezell, and granddaughters Sierra Ann Rezell and Taylor Jane Rezell.

Arlene and Bob were members of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Caledonia, Wisconsin. They were avid Snowmobilers, Packers Fans, and Golfers throughout their lives.

Arlene was a dedicated elementary school teacher in the Oak Creek and Franklin school districts for 24 years. She volunteered at St. Louis Catholic Church, the Village of Raymond election polls, The Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Children’s Theater.

Arlene enjoyed playing Sheepshead and was Master ranked at playing Bridge.

Arlene will be missed by all who knew her.

In your wisdom you have called your servant Arlene out of this world:

Release her from the bonds of sin, and welcome her into your presence, so that she may enjoy eternal light and peace and be raised up in glory with all your saints.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

    I’ll sure miss Arlene. She was my friend for over 50 years and a wonderful bridge partner. Our oldest daughters have been friends since kindergarten and are still very close.

    I will miss Arlene. I met her in Alabama playing cards, and continued as a foursome playing bridge in Wisconsin. I remember going to the dog track with her and Bob, And attended a variety of plays and concerts with her in the Gulf Shores area. I will miss getting together with her..
