Wenzel, James R. “Jim”
Greenfield, WI. Found peace on June 23, 2009, age 70.
Survived by: his two daughters Debby Daniel McNamara of Franklin, WI and Denise David Hoppa of Colorado, one cherished granddaughter Lauren Hoppa, granddogs Jack, Pete, Tanner, Twister, and Tux. Also survived by one sister Elaine Alfred Otzelberger, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Joseph Wenzel and granddogs Barney, Fred, Oscar and Prince.
Jim was a retired, 25-year veteran of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department and prior to that a Tool & Die Maker at Mattson Tool & Die. Following his retirement from the Sheriff’s Department he worked as Security Officer with Wackenhut Security/ Milwaukee County Transit.
A time of sharing for family and friends will be held at 9:00 am on Wed., July 1 at the Clement Manor Health Center Chapel, 3939 S 92nd St, Greenfield, WI followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:30 am and a reception in the Rainbow Room.
