Ingeborg “Inge” R. Madson (nee Behm)

Went home to the Lord on November 20th, 2025, at the age of 94. Joined her beloved husband of 56 years Allen Duane Madson in eternal rest. Loving mom of Ron (Joanne) Madson, Karen (Jim) Klappenbach, Linda (Tony) Henika, and Melissa (Jack) Klubertanz. Grandma of Laura (Rick), Tony (Anne), Andy (Amy), Jon (Cassandra), Brian (Lindsey), Steve (Kristin), Michael (Megan), Nick, Scott (Ashleigh). Great Grandma of Rebecca (Alex), Alyssa, Ben (Hannah), Savannah, Hunter, Kambrie, Jett, Harper, Everett, Daisy, Chloe, Isaac, and Eliot. Great-Great-Grandma to Avery. Preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Maria “Mutti” Behm (nee Dohnalek).

A faithful Christian, Ingeborg dedicated her life to raising her children to know and love God. Her family was one of her greatest joys, and she took immense pride in the loving, faith-filled home she created. She nurtured her family with warmth, guidance, and a steady presence that will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Ingeborg had a gentle appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, often creating handmade pieces that became treasured keepsakes. She had a deep affection for classical and opera music, finding comfort and beauty in every note. Her mind remained sharp and curious throughout her life, strengthened by her love of reading, crossword puzzles, solitaire, and Mahjong.

Never one to shy away from learning or connecting, Ingeborg even enjoyed spending time on Facebook, keeping up with family, friends, and photos that brought her joy. With a sweet tooth for Werther’s caramels and Lindt chocolates, she embraced small delights that made each day a little brighter.

Above all, she will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her profound love for her family. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet wisdom will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A special thank you from the family to Jolene of Prohealth Care, Angels Grace Hospice, and Jennifer for your kind and devoted care of Ingeborg.

She reminded me with her faith to stay and remain musically inclined and to contribute to my faith in whatever I needed to help myself grow. Her smiles and warm hugs were always there and all. She said it how it was but she kept many directed in their faith and talents.
