Gwenlyn A. Zimmer (nee Herrmann)
Passed away surrounded by family on December 14th, 2025, at the age of 77. Loving mom of Donald (Kris) Zimmer, April (Arik) Rosengren, Laura Zimmer-Ploeckelman, Lynn (Esau) Gomez, Rebecca Zimmer-Block (Jordan) Block, and Anthony Zimmer. Proud grandma and great-Grandma of 15. Sister of Thomas (Ronald Rozman) Herrmann. Dear cousin of Mary Haas. Preceded in death by her parents John and Sophie (nee Blochowicz). Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home for their compassionate and dedicated care of Gwenlyn for many years.

Sending much love. Gwen and her family took my family in as new neighbors when we (my first husband and infant daughter) landed in Milwaukee for US Coast Guard service in 1986. When the second baby was born Gwen made sure we had a lovely meal and each of her family brought a dish/aide so all of the kids could see the baby. So much love.felt. Through all the years that act has always been a gentle reminder to do more It’s one of my favorite memories (and her infectious laugh). I’m incredibly sorry.
