Gordon “Gordy” Glen Swinehart

Gordon “Gordy” Glen Swinehart of Oak Creek, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on August 28th, 2026, at the age of 78. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories with his family and friends.

Born to the late Jeanette Rosella Steinfest Swinehart and Glen “Bud” Francis Swinehart. Gordy was a man with a generous heart who made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted husband, loving dad, proud grandfather, supportive brother and loyal friend.

Gordy is preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend, Pamela Ann. The two met on a blind date and it was love at first sight. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories.

He is also preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Joseph Paczocha; and his brothers-in-law, Dan Gudopp and Randy Joeckel.

Gordy is survived by his sister Linda Joeckel of Beaver Dam; his mother-in-law Lois Paczocha of Cudahy; his sisters-in-law Nancy Gudopp, Dee (Phil) Dewitt; his brothers-in-law Joseph (Nancy) Paczocha and David (Debi) Paczocha.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kimberly Rae (Kevin Singer)  Swinehart, and Megan Marie (Justin) Coulbourne; his grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; and his longtime caregiver, Jada Baake, who became much more than a caregiver-she became family. He loved Jada like a daughter, and her years of care and companionship meant so much to him.

Gordy had a lifelong love of sports, especially golf, baseball, football, and basketball. Whether watching a game, enjoying a round of golf, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Gordy found joy in the simple moments and with those who mattered most.

Gordy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private service will be held for the family at a later date.
