Kriehn, Gordon C.
Called home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the age of 92 years old. Born in Milwaukee on May 26, 1924. Parents were Emil and Caroline Kriehn. He is survived by his second wife of 15 years, Doris Kriehn; son Richard (Barbra) Kriehn; daughter-in-law Joan Kriehn. Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren: Greg (Renee) Kriehn, Kristi (Pete) Powell, Jeff (Erin) Kriehn, Laura (Jonathan) Pilarski, Eric (Tiffany) Kriehn, Adam (Holly) Kriehn, and Amanda (Tom) Langhoff, and 12 great-grand children. He is preceded in death by his first wife Elinor Kriehn; son David Kriehn; brothers Kenneth and Roland Kriehn.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church, 8605 W. Forest Home Avenue, with visitation from 9:30 AM until time of service. Private interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Mr. Kriehn was a World War II veteran that served in the U.S. Army. He will be remembered for the example he set as a Christian person and parent and how to have a Christian marriage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jacobi missions greatly appreciated.
