Gerald “Gerry” Gronholm

Passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2026. He was 70 years old.

Gerry is the beloved father of Jamie (Christopher Thompson) Gronholm, Amanda (Cory) Bradshaw, and Christopher (Crystal Jensen) Gronholm. The loving grandfather of Andrew, Lainey, Cody, Hailey (Ethan), CJ, Ariena, and Kenjrah. The dear brother of Shirley Gronholm, Darlene Bowen, Mark (Annette) Gronholm, Marvin (Beth) Gronholm, William (Kathy) Gronholm, Sandy (Herm) Starkey, Doug (the late Dan) Gronholm, the late Clifford (the late Donna) Gronholm, and the late Linda (Gordy) Allen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gerry worked at Grove Gear (Regal Rexnord Motion Control Solutions) as a third shift leadman, retiring after over 20 years of loyal service.

Gerry was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt and fish, especially up north at the family property in Marengo. He also enjoyed bowling. Gerry was a true Wisconsinite – he always rooted for the home-teams. When the Packers or Brewers were playing, you could find Gerry watching or listening to the game. He also would watch anything related to the Wisconsin Badgers. When not watching sports, he would watch and re-watch old western – especially if it starred John Wayne or Clint Eastwood.

Family was everything to Gerry and he was especially proud of his grandchildren.

Gerry will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
