Gary was a dear friend from Junior Higgh and High School. We found each other again a few years ago and it was fun being back in touch again, talking about old times and about his book he was writing. We worked together on our High School Year Book, him as Photographer and me as Assistant, then Editor. So much fun! He is sorely missed. We will meet again, Gare! Love you, always, Ali

Gary and I had been in contact before he had seemingly disappeared. We not only went to High School together but also worked together at Osco Drug. He was a good, kind, sensitive man whom many of us adored. He is greatly missed and thought of daily. God bless all those who love and miss him.

Gary and I lived in the same neighborhood in Fond du Lac, and went all the way through high school together. It was only in the last few years that we reconnected through Facebook and email. Now we have to wait some more until we get together again. He was quiet, steady and trustworthy, and we will miss him. Both he and his family are in my prayers.

Gary and I went to school at UWM together and became good friends and room mates. Gary loved his dog Farfy and was always kind and caring. Sometimes Farfy, a sweet great Dane, would get on my nerves and I regret not loving him more. God Bless you Gary and Farfy , I will always love you both. Gregg Gunta

Gary was our next door neighbor for over 10 years. He was a great neighbor. He had great stories and a dog to pet over the fence, first Siegrid a great dane and then a number of Greyhounds like Mr. Spirit. Rest easy Gary.

Gary saw my ad at the UWM Student Union for typing assistance and he called and left a message, asking for a return phone call. Glad I did. In addition to getting a lot of typing jobs while I was a student, I also gained a lifelong friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart. Rest in peace Gary. You are missed and you were loved by many.
