Florence F. Grossbier (Nee Korger)

Florence was a remarkable woman.  She lived her life guided by three pillars: her love for God, her devotion to her family and her proud patriotism for her country.

Florence was married to the love of her life, Peter, for 53 wonderful years before he passed in 2007.  They dedicated their life to raising their six children: Debbie Wroblewski (Scott), Gene’o Grossbier (Roxane), Cathie Heese (deceased), Jenny Lowell (Andy), Darlene Spankowski (Dale) and Donna Grossbier. Then they headed into the next phase of their life, enjoying spending time with their grandchildren (Jessica, Michele, Stephanie, Jacob, Brent, Ryan, Leah, Justus & Justine) and great-grandchildren (Mya, Audrey, Lucas, Elijah & Jackson).

Florence  created a home filled with warmth, home-cooked meals and unconditional love.  Her love for nurturing was also evident in her beautiful gardens, which she lovingly tended to her entire life. Florence taught her family the value of hard work, honesty and grace.

A celebration of Florence’s life will be held on Saturday, October 10 at Heritage Funeral Home located at 6615 W. Oklahoma Ave in Milwaukee.  Memorial visitation at 10:30 a.m., Celebration of Life service at noon, followed by continued visitation.
