My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom. I had rented the upper flat on S. 9th for 5 years until 1992 (my grandma had lived there previously when the house was owned by my aunt’s mother). I have fond memories of Erma and our conversations. She was always so proud to talk about her kids and grandkids. We had continued to exchange Christmas cards all these years. My sympathy and prayers to the family.

I met Erma when she was living in her home on 9th in Milwaukee, and I rented the upper flat. It wasn’t nearly long enough that I lived there and enjoyed her company, but my marriage took me to West Bend in 1995. We always kept in touch, and I’m so thankful for her friendship and our last visit in August.
