Although I am half the world away from milwaukee, I have always rememberd the exceptional memories and lovely times I had shared with the Casselman family. They are truley a genuine american family.Mrs. “Kate” Casselman had been a mother to me during my 5 years I had known her.Yes my american mother.Whenever I had gone to their home in Franklin, a big smile and open arms and huggs awaited me.
I was fortunate to know her and her late husband whom i had loved dearly and of course their lovely daughters Chris and Cathy .Mrs Casselman had always cooked for me real american meals and shared with her wonderfull few thanksgivings and christmas times.I never forget her tasteful turkey and mashed potatoes with her special “gravey” and the few trips to the apple farm where we had apple cider.
She was lovely, kind and beautiful lady.God bless her soul. She will always be in my heart and prayers

Find comfort in knowing that she is now safe with our Lord, where she will never tire again.

Ali,

Thank you for sharing your memories and your life with us. The fair in the apple orchard was always my favorite activity of the year, with the leaves changing colors and the smell of apple cider heating up over a fire. I’m glad you shared those times with our family.

The flowers you sent for mom were beautiful and stood next to her casket during the funeral. You were a wonderful son to her. She was so happy you made the effort to connect with her through the years and to talk with her just a few weeks ago. I hope that you and your family are happy and healthy and making lots of beautiful memories together.

Chris
