Passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the age of 67 yrs. Beloved husband of 45 wonderful years to Susan M. Iverson (Nee Rogers). Loving father of Bryan (Dana) Iverson, Chad Iverson. Dear grandfather of precious Dylan. Dear brother of Lynn (Ray) Chasin, Debbie (Jimmy) Hedler, Howie (Melanie) Iverson, Brother-in-law of Jeff (Judy) Jassby. Special friend Shari and his best buddy Kermit. Also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family relatives and friends and wonderful camping family. Duane is preceded in death by his parents Richard and MaryAnn Iverson and in-laws John and Nancy Rogers, sister Sandy Jassby, sister-in-law Jill Rogers.
Duane was a amazing husband, father, best friend, Companion. He was a very patient and selfless man that would do so much for family and friends. A wonderful sense of humor who loved kids and playing games with them. Longtime hard working employee of Johnson Controls of 46 years. Loved playing sheepshead with his group of friends. A lifelong camper who loved the outdoors and the best hoarder ever. Duane will be missed by all that knew him.

Duane was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him for many years at JCI.

Duane was a great fried, a wonderful teacher, mentor for me at JCI. I was sad to hear his life was cut short. He touched so many in the best of ways, may he rest in peace knowing we all appreciated him.
Duane was such a Legend for our sheapshead group. Duane was the one we all tried to beat, but never could. I will never forget his smirk when you finally realized he beat you. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten in our hearts.
It was truly a pleasure working with Duane; he was always ready to help and support others. I pray that his soul finds peace.

May the peace of the Lord be with Duane and his family at this time. May the Lord greet Duane with wide open arms. It was always a pleasure working with Duane, he was patient and kind even if the problems were challenging at times. God speed Duane!
Duane was my mentor and friend. I enjoyed the hour lunch time with him and the rest of my friends! He was patient with me during this new position in my career and seemed to be a magician in solving work issues! I was saddened to hear of his passing so soon after retirement. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.
Duane was always generous with his time and knowledge and was willing to help anyone who reached out to him. I will remember him for his expertise, patience, and kindness. He made a lasting impression on those around him through his genuine nature. He was a mentor to many and a friend to many more. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
I miss you my friend! My heart is full of emotions but most of all love, love for my friend, brother from another mother, “work wife” as Sue would say! I pray for God’s peace, mercy and grace to be with the family and that His presence will fill the void felt by Duane’s home going. I’m so grateful that the Lord allowed me in my journey to Johnson Controls to meet such a wonderful, beautiful soul! I will miss all of the deep conversations we shared, the laughs and help in setting up company events, Duane is greatly missed, not just by me, but by everyone that experienced his love and kindness. Be with God my sweet friend.

I worked with Duane for many years and appreciated the help he provided when I didn’t understand ECNs or needed a drawing. He was also on the bowling league with some of us and he was one of the best in the league. His kindness was a trait that always surfaced in our conversations. God bless you. Duane and be assured I will pray for you and your family.
