My memory of Doug will always be the smile he would greet everyone with when we had our Westinghouse alumni semi annual lunches. Our sincere condolences to the family. He will be missed by all.

Doug was the best next-door neighbor anyone could ask for. He and his wife Mary were so welcoming and helpful when we moved into the neighborhood seven years ago, and at all times since. We will miss him a lot.

Doug was such a wonderful man. I knew him as the father of my dearest friend, Jill, and what a special person he was. I love that he instilled in his children a love of life, a sense of adventure, the willingness to try new things, and the security of a loving home and familiy. I envied the trips they took as a family and how much they enjoyed being together. I got to share in the love of the family through Jill, who carries on her father’s legacy of love of life and adventure. I think we all know that Doug lived his life to the fullest, loved his family with all of his heart, and brought joy to all who knew him. Life wll lived, Doug!! We will see you in heaven some day!
