You don’t know me, but I thought I’d share a special memory of George. The very first time a friend and I had ever been to the restaurant, we had the pleasure of having a conversation with George while we ate our lunch. Once he found out it was our first visit, he disappeared for a short while and returned with two dishes of the flavor of the day. Of course we were told we couldn’t eat them until we finished our lunch. :). That was a very nice gesture to two complete strangers. I can’t imagine what a great person he was to the people he knew and loved. I will never forget his simple gesture and have visited again many times with my family. God Bless George’s family and friends in this difficult time.

My wife and I just learned of George’s passing while at the shop in Racine. George instilled an ethic to his family, children, and the community that if you have a dream, you can really make it happen. Truly, his time here was a gift from God. We will miss him, but the Lord and Saints above are going to eating well with Georgie up there behind that big grill in the sky.
