I will miss Donny so much! I was so blessed to have seen him last summer! I live in Texas and so sorry I can’t make it to Don’s service. His love for you was tremendous, and I know that his love was always returned by you! You both were so in love. I will be in touch. We love and miss you. Donny you were an awesome cousin that I wish I could have seen more often. I love you and will miss you! I pray for Cindy and David during this time and always that they may be comforted, and find peace with the passing of Cindy’s prince and David loving father.

Don helped me take out a failing plaster ceiling in the living room of my first home, about 25 years ago, and then dry wall both the living room and dining room ceilings. It was a big project and took many, many nights to complete but Don hung in there with me to the very end. And Cindy was so sweet and understanding. One night we got the giggles so bad! We were both covered in white powder, looked like ghosts, and were so very tired of this project which seemed unending so we began poking fun at each other and ourselves. It was hilarious! Don could be so funny and so silly! We were nearly in tears we laughed so hard. Of course, that made it difficult to work but we often reminisced about that time. I’ve never forgotten all that Don and Cindy did to help me during that time. In my lifetime I have not known many people to be as loyal of a friend as Don was to me. He will never be forgotten. Much love to you both (Cindy & Don).

I have known Donny for his whole life. He grew into one of the most kindest and caring people I have ever met. His love for Cindy shone through with the way he cared for her. They had fun together and the love they had for each other carried them through some very hard times. Cindy- know that he will be with you always. May God give comfort to you and David. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Heaven received a very special Angel!
