Donald J. Lesar
Passed away peacefully on July 20th, 2026, at the age of 91. Survived by his devoted wife Susan (nee Stevens) for many years. Father of Michael Lesar and Lynn (Sid) Kelley. Predeceased by his son, Jeff. Brother of Adaline Krembs and Bernard, and also predeceased by his sister, Roberta. Grandpa to Dalton, Savannah, and Sierra. Further survived by many cousins as well as other relatives and friends.
Born and raised in Willard, Wisconsin, Donald carried a lifelong appreciation for his hometown and the outdoors. He dedicated many years of his career to the Wisconsin Telephone Company and took great pride in his Slovenian heritage, devoting countless hours to researching and preserving his family’s history. An avid hunter, Donald found peace on his 40 acres of land in the Willard area, where he enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature. After moving to Muskego, he and his beloved wife, Susan, became active and faithful members of St. Leonard’s Church, where they built lasting friendships and remained devoted to their faith and community.
I worked with Don at Western Electric, (WI phone company), for many years. I always enjoyed our conversations at work.

Worked in the Electronics Dept at Western Electric. for over 30 years Not many of us still round. Also met don at Scouting events at Mother of Good Counsel parish. My Condolences.
Don was a gentle soul and I always enjoyed conversing with him at our cousins “Grueter” picnic. He will be dearly missed and by now I know he is resting comfortably in God our saviors arms .
Met Donald twice trying to connect our families heritage. His family farm was across the road from my grandmother (Agnes Lesar) brothers Frank Francel farm. Both families came from the same area of Slovenia. Found no connection. His son Jeffrey was in boy scouts with my son Jeffrey I am sorry for your loss.
