Diane Marie McGinnis 

Was called home to the Lord on October 27, 2026 at age 71 after her battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease and joined her parents, John and Florence Flynn. Loving Mother of Richard McGinnis (Roshia Johari) and John McGinnis (Deidre). Affectionate grandmother of Nathaniel McGinnis, Qayden Johari, Sarina Johari, Naomi McGinnis, and Gabriel McGinnis.  Loving sister of John Flynn (Betty), Mary Matestic (Fred), the late Patrick Flynn (Carolyn) , Timothy Flynn  (Sue), and Joyce Wendt (Lee). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends. 

Preceded in death by her brother, Patrick, and her former husband, Richard McGinnis. 

Diane served Heritage Funeral Home for 13 years as a mortuary cosmetologist. 

Diane was very dedicated to her faith and spirituality. She would listen to evangelical podcasts and pray often. She will also be remembered for her exquisite garden, being a fashionista, and making people beautiful.  Other things Diane enjoyed were bowling, golfing, swimming, and dogsitting. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 9:30 am – 11 am at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT PARISH (3160 S. 63rd St. Milwaukee, WI) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am.
