Daniel “Danny” S. Spychalla

Born to Eternal Life to join his parents in Heaven on Friday, April 5, 2024 age 61 years. Father of Samantha (Ben) Sigl and Madison Spychalla. Former husband of Cheryl Spychalla. Dear son of the late Daniel Spychalla and RuthAnn Schroeder (nee Kernen).  Further survived by brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Danny enjoyed camping with his friends and family through the years; some of his favorite places that hold fond memories are Apple River, Wisconsin Dells and Door County.
He enjoyed many trips to Antigo with his family; fishing, hunting and helping Uncle Louie at the farm.  Fishing in the early hours on opening weekend of trout fishing or panfishing on Pelican and Moose Lakes competing for “first fish” or “biggest fish” were always full of rambunctious laughs and arguing over who got the best “spot”.
He volunteered often with the M.A. Dailey Foundation Fishing Derby events helping children experience the outdoors and the joys of fishing.
He was an avid bowler, bowling in weekly leagues and numerous tournaments and even putting a couple 300 games under his belt.  He loved golfing with family and friends, enjoying a good cigar and a beautiful day of golf would bring him happiness.  He was a proud founding member of his Cigar Club.
Danny had a few jobs through his life starting at Tri City Foods where his mom and many friends worked together.  It was a great work family that made a long list of lifetime friendships.  He worked his way from cart collecting to store manager.
He also managed Open Pantry and PharMor stores before landing at Schroeder Solutions as a Lead Installer.
He really enjoyed his work life and the many friends and memories made.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date, please contact family for further information.
