Conrad “Connie” “Rad” Bonczkowski was spirited away peacefully on June 8, 2025 at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore. Conrad was born on January 28, 1949 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He worked at many places throughout his life; with the longest being the 30 years he worked at Zenar Crane Corporation in Oak Creek.

Conrad enjoyed many things, including vacations to visit family in Minnesota, visiting friends to talk about cars, and going to swap meets. He was best known for his “jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none” wit and wisdom, sarcastic sense of humor, selfless kindness, and resilience.

Conrad was the beloved husband of Joanne, the loving father of Sean and Emily “Emm,” The Godfather of Amy Atkinson and Daniel Brown, and the fond brother-in-law of Claude & Mary Ellen Brown and Michael & Mary Chris Brown. Conrad is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & dear friends.

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Cecelia Bonczkowski and siblings Sandy (Eddie) Marifke and Jim Bonczkowski.

Special appreciative thanks to the ICU nursing staff at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore for all the compassion and care given to Conrad as well as to neighbors Terry & Glenda Riggs and Sonja Severn for all their assistance, compassion, and support.

Visitation 5:00pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home 3801 S. Howell Ave.

Funeral Mass 9:30am Saturday, June 14, 2025 at St. John Paul II / St. Helen Parish, 3329 S. 10th Street. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

When I worked with Emily at Bank Mutual I remember hearing stories about the trips to Minnesota to visit relatives and catch up with them. May God give you his peace and comfort during this time.

Back in the 60″s, he was known as the King of Bondo! We fixed a lot of cars back then. Rest in peace brother.
