A devoted husband, fur-grandpa, father, friend, and man of faith, he will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and the way he made everyone around him feel like a friend.

Charles lived life fully and found joy in the simple things that brought people together. He loved golfing, fishing, bowling, and cars, and he especially cherished time spent with his family. Some of his favorite memories were made traveling to northern Wisconsin, where he and his family rented cottages and enjoyed time together. He also loved vacations in Florida, creating many special family memories along the way.

Charlie was a dedicated and hardworking employee throughout his career. He proudly spent 36 years with Rexnord, followed by another 10 years with Aumund Corporation. His commitment to his work and the people he worked alongside was a reflection of the loyalty and dependability he brought to all aspects of his life.

Above all, Charlie was a family man. His girls were his pride and joy, and nothing meant more to him than seeing them happy and spending time with them. He was a constant source of love, encouragement, and support, and his family will treasure the countless memories they shared with him.

Charlie was also a true man of faith. He loved his church and the church community, where he found fellowship, friendship, and purpose. He especially enjoyed the men’s group and “The Good Timers,” friendships and gatherings that brought him great happiness. He was even lovingly given the nickname “Tuna” by some of his lifelong bowling buddies.

A lifelong Wisconsin sports fan, Charlie proudly cheered for the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Green Bay Packers. Whether watching a game or talking sports with family and friends, he enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement that came with being a fan.

Charlie was an outgoing person with a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome. He had a gift for turning acquaintances into friends and making others feel as though they had known him for years. His kindness, humor, faith, and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Charlie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, church community, and all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on in the memories of the many lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the friendships he so easily made.

He lived a life of faith, family, friendship, hard work, and joy—and he will be remembered with love.
