Carol (Lucy) as I called her was one of the funniest people I knew. There wasn’t a time when we were together that we didn’t laugh no matter what either of us was going through. I have so many wonderful memories (way too many to mention), throughout the years. We were friends first and then sister’s -in-law for many years. I miss her more than I could possibly tell, she was more like a sister to me. There is a very special place in my heart that only she can hold. I will miss and love her forever. I’m glad she isn’t suffering anymore and that she’s with Rich and all those who have gone on before. We have a great big family in heaven and one day we will all be reunited and there will be a great celebration, but first we will rejoice because we will be with our Lord and Savior Jesus who died for us so we could spend Eternity with Him. Rich and Carol both gave their lives to the Lord before leaving this world. Carol, I love you with all my heart and I’m so thankful for all the years we shared!

P.S. There will never be another Ethel and Lucy like us!!

We moved kiddy corner across the street from Carol & Rich 16 yrs. ago. Carol was my only friend in the neighborhood and I was amazed at all the family she had. They became my friends also in a round-about way. I look over at the house and can still visualize Carol sitting on the porch. When Chuck would come home, he would ask our “fur kid” Patches, where was I. Patches would jump on the couch and look over at Carol’s. She was everything everyone wrote about. She was my dearest friend and I loved her very much as we all do. I will miss her terribly. Our sympathy goes out to the entire family. Chuck & Patti
