Passed away September 16th, 2022 at the age of 81.  Reunited in Heaven with her late husband William “Bill” Barwig.

Beloved mother of Ann (Dan) Marsicek, Mary (Dan) Sager, Barbara (Lars) Nielsen, and William (Lisa) Barwig.  Proud grandma of Mallory, Lauren, Elizabeth, Emily, Simone, Charlotte, Ruben (Christina), Molly (Nathan) Matecki, Abigail (Reid) Montanye, Ryan and Jacob (Taylor).  Loving great-grandma of Luca, Olive, Joanna, Elena, Joseph, and Gabriella.  Dear sister of Pat (George) Sellon, Alan (Laurie) Aleksandrowicz, Dan (Lonne) Aleksandrowicz and Amy Gifford.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eileen was a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for over 50 years.  She enjoyed being involved in many areas of the church including the choir, festival, liturgical services, and various other volunteer positions.

Visitation to take place Friday, September 23, 2022 at ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH (8500 W. Coldspring Rd., Greenfield) from 10:30AM – 12PM with Funeral Mass at 12PM.

In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

    Dear Barwig..and Aleksandrowicz families…please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers in the loss of your mother, grandmother..great grandmother ..and sister. She was a wonderful bright spirit, loving lady at our family gatherings.
