BJ, as she was known to her many friends, showed kindness and compassion to all. She lived a good life and kept a positive outlook on life despite her struggles with deafness, physical limitations, and other medical issues.
I first met BJ 25 years ago as together we attended water aerobics classes each Tuesday and Thursday sponsored by the Greenfield Recreation Department.
It was there that we grew fond of each other sharing many laughs. Four years later, my husband, Tom joined our mostly ladies classes and he too became fond of BJ.
She along with her daughter, Kathy, and other friends involved in water aerobic classes, attended many potluck luncheons celebrating the coming of summer and members’ birthdays. Those are happy memories.
BJ had a life to celebrate.
