The memorial service and celebration of life for Eleonore Jeske will take place on August 14, 2025, at the chapel of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, 11831 N Seminary Dr, Mequon, WI 53092.

Nonny lived on the Seminary grounds for 25 years, from 1970-1995. It was her joy to work for many years as assistant to the Seminary librarian.

Nonny was preceded in death by her dear husband John on December 24, 2014. She leaves to cherish her memory her five children: Rev. Mark (Carol) Jeske, Kristine (Hans) Metzger, Rev. Thomas (Elizabeth) Jeske, Mary (Ross) Metzger, and Lisa (Mark) Ricke; grandchildren John, Sam, Liz, Michael, Joshua, Sarah, Julia, Jesse, Matthias, August, Peter, Hannah, Aaron, Peter, Jonathan, Micah, Hannah, Josiah, and Noah; 35 1/2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial gifts may be sent to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary or to Nonny’s congregation, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Lake Mills, Wis.
