I’ll never forget these days.

Lauren, you were the first person he loved outside of our family. You always held a place in his heart.

Thank you for your kind words and brave heart – for taking time to write us. Even though we only discovered this letter yet another year later, it is comforting to read. Wil touched many lives in his short life and we continue to marvel at each one as it is revealed to us. He was always an incredible person that the world was very blessed to have. We miss him every single day, but find solace that we had such a precious gift in our lives at all. We hope you find strength and peace in your life and are able to continue forth with a piece of the wonder that was Wil.

Dear Chris, Peter and Family,

We are so sad to hear about Wil. We have so many cherished memories of the boys in their pursuits around the neighborhood, and how Wil always stayed true to himself. A gift that you both were able to instill in him. I loved seeing his enthusiasm, in nature, in friendships, and in his love of family.

He will be missed, but always remembered, as a caring, smart, and funny boy,

With all our love,
Sandy Cary and family

Dear Chris, Peter, and Family,
Wayne, I, and our whole family, including Josh were shocked and very saddened to hear of Wil’s passing. Wil was such a wonderful friend to Josh, and spent so much time at our house and with Josh. He was such a crack-up and witty young man, full of life. We will all miss him! We want you to know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
