Found peace on Wed., May 20, 2009, at the age of 92 years. Born on March 22, 1917. Beloved husband of Margaret Clara nee Brandt. Loving father of Betty Novak. Son of the late Matilda Novak. Bill was born, attended school and worked his entire life in the city of Milwaukee. He will be remembered and missed by many good friends and relatives. He worked at Pfister Vogel for 32 years retiring from the company in 1979. One of his main interests was baseball. He was a avid fan of the Milwaukee Braves and the Milwaukee Brewers. Bill attended many games at County Stadium and Miller Park. When not at the ball park he had the radio tuned to Bob Uecker. Bill was a World War II veteran from 1943 to 1946 in the European Theatre, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of CFY / Sloga since 1933. Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME from 4PM Fri., May 22, concluding with a brief service at 6:30PM Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
