William “Bill” J. Schoenung

William “Bill” J. Schoenung passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2025, at age 92. Devoted and beloved husband of the late Ruth Schoenung. Best dad of Karla (James) and best gramps of Juliana and Gabi Trauberman. Loving father of the late Craig Schoenung and Karen. Preceded in death by his parents Philip and Cecille and his three brothers Glenn, Philip, and Richard. Dear brother-in-law of Donald Olen. William is survived by other caring relatives and friends. Veteran of the United States Army. The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated staff at Franciscan Villa who treated William like a member of their family.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 11 am – 1 pm at ST. ROMAN PARISH (1710 W Bolivar Ave. Milwaukee, WI) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1 pm. Entombment at MOUNT OLIVET CEMETERY.
