Tom and I wish so bad we could attend Vivian’s memorial. I do daycare and it is almost impossible for me to take off.

Darrell and Fred, and all the rest of the family, please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you even though we can’t attend. Your Mom was absolutely one of the sweetest ladies we ever knew. She was a wonderful neighbor too. We missed her when she moved away.

I know you are all sad she is gone but please try hard to remember she is in a better place. She is in heaven and her little body is whole and new again and free from pain. She is happy there I know and that is better than suffering here.

I have been visiting Vivian almost weekly for several months and up until just the last couple weeks she was always happy and talkative. We would talk about the olden days and about her boys and their families. And I can tell you that talking about you gave her the most joy. I just want you all to know that so you know you were loved a lot by her.

Darrell, I am glad I got to hug you last week because I can’t be there at the service. Fred, only your number was in the phone book. I called and left a message. I hope you got it.

Along with this message comes hugs, thoughts and prayers for all of you and Vivian too. God Bless you all and keep you in His care.

Just want to add a fond memory of Vivian because she was so sweet.

Whenever I visited Vivian I would always call her the party girl and I would tell everyone else there that too. We’d all laugh then.

What I’ll always remember about her is she had a hard time walking around. Yet, put on music…..and she could dance up a storm! I mean it, there was no one else quite like Vivan!

So in this hard time, remember all the wonderful things about her and treasure them. She was special.

Remember the block party at Kevin and Janet’s. Vivian could hardly walk but when the music started she got up and started dancing the night away. What a night of fun. She was a great lady and one you always had fun talking to. We’ll miss her.
