Nee Putnis She was born 15 June 1905 in Bauska, Latvia and passed away 15 September 2006, at the age of 101 years, in Milwaukee, WI. She was a talented seamstress who fled from Latvia during WWII in fear of the Soviet regime. She settled in Milwaukee in 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnolds in 1986. Vera is survived by her two sons, Edvins Dzintra and Ilmars Margrieta Erkmanis; also five grandchildren, Mara Andris Slesers, Andra Eriks Rozentals, Aivars Anita, and Edvins R. Erkmanis and Laura Doug Moehs; and three great grandchildren, Larisa and Aleksandrs Slesers and Eriks Moehs.
Funeral services Wed., Sept. 20, at 11:00AM, at the MILWAUKEE LATVIAN EV. HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, 1853 N. 75TH ST., WAUWATOSA. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Visitation at the CHURCH from 10AM Wednesday until time of services.
