Timothy R. Menges “Tim” or “Timmy”
Of New Berlin went home to be with the Lord peacefully, Sunday February 10, 2013 at the age of 61. Married for 20 years to his former spouse and current caregiver (Dawn Menges). Proud, loving father of Portia, Angela and Rachel Menges. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Susan Menges.
Tim was an owner of USA Family Thrift in Greenfield with partners, Jack Dyke and Larry Ziarek. Tim worked his entire life as a self-employed finish carpenter and was a meticulous craftsman whose work was sought after. Tim proudly served his country in Vietnam in the Air Force as an In-flight Refueling Operator. He loved photography, fishing, hunting, vacations and living life to the fullest. Tim had a very giving spirit and great sense of humor. His family and friends meant the world to him.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Charcoal Grill Restaurant, 15375 W. Greenfield, New Berlin on Friday, March 1st from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Disabled American Veterans, American Heart Association or his family are appreciated.
