Stanczak, Timothy L. “Timmy”

Age 55, Timmy finally found eternal peace with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. He died peacefully with his family at his side. Beloved son of Mary nee Mosconi & Joe, loving brother to Patrick Diane and sisters GailTomGustafson , Mary JoJeffGreilich. Special and proud Uncle to Michael Stanczak, Alison & Carli Gustafson, Joey, Cody & Kendall Greilich and favorite dogs Diva & Max. Also survived by two aunts, uncle and many special cousins.

Tim was born in Milwaukee, WI and resided in Franklin, WI. He graduated from St. Gregory the Great School in 1968, where he first began his love for basketball & baseball. Tim went on to Hamilton High School and was one of the star players to win the Wisconsin State Championship for basketball in 1972. He also played in the State Baseball Tournament in Madison the same year. Tim attended UW-Stevens Point where he also played baseball and MATC. He was a Tool & Die Maker for GM Delphi Electronics in Oak Creek and retired two years ago after 33 years of service.

He had a great passion for all sports – he loved to trout fish in Montana with his father, brother, nephew and cousins. Enjoyed deer hunting and fishing at his family hunting camp in Northern, WI and loved to golf with his favorite golf buddies. Tim was a member of St. Greg’s Dartball team and after retiring enjoyed helping with St. Ben’s meal program through St. Greg’s.

Tim loved to watch his nephews & nieces play soccer, baseball and most recently hockey. He enjoyed having lunch/dinner with his sisters and adored riding his Harley- Davidson everywhere he could.

Timmy embraced life and all the people who were lucky enough to know him. He loved his family and friends deeply and nurtured a special relationship with many of us. His zest for life, his joyful laughter and his heart of gold will be greatly missed by all that were touched by this great man. He taught many of us about courage, strength, compassion, true friendship and most of all love. The pain is now gone and he is at peace. He will always live on in our hearts forever.

A special thank you to Dr. Glenn Ragalie and the entire staff at the Zilber Hospice. We thank you for the wonderful care you provided to our son and brother.
