Osaka, Japan – Tim Drefahl, age 41, passed away at Osaka National Hospital on July 13, 2010. Tim was born on Sept 26, 1968 in Riverside, CA. He lived in Racine County for several years before moving back to California. He worked in California prior to spending two years in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu. He continued working there before returning to California. He went to Korea to teach English and then to Japan. He enjoyed traveling Australia, New Zealand, Germany and made many friends.
Tim is survived by his Mother, Betty Hribar Kenneth Gilman of Yucaipa, CA; Father, Thomas Jean Drefahl of Frankville, WI; Brother, Theodore Drefahl of Union Grove, WI; Sister, Sharie Patrick Wetzel of Beaumont, CA; Nephew, Michael Shilts of Lawson, MO; Niece, Chelsey Ledger of Beaumont, CA; Step Brothers and Sisters, Joe Karen Baumann, Robert Baumann, Thomas Baumann, Karen Jeff Gilanyi all of Caledonia, WI; Steve Kristie Baumann of Oxford, WI; Kenneth Nila Gilman, Jr of Yucaipa, CA; Loni Paul Jones of Spokane, WA; Timothy Roseanne Gilman of So Carolina; and Janet Gilman of Redlands, CA. Further survived by many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 1pm at the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11am until the time of service 1pm.
