Born to eternal life on October 13, 2016 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Barkowski) for 44 years. Loving father of Rodney (Beth), and Shelley Tessmer (Henry). Proud grandfather of Tyler Tabat, Henry Tessmer IV, and Emily Tessmer.
Caring brother to the late Phyliss Curler, the late Marlene Curler (Clyde), Clarence “Joe” Tabat, and Marie Tabat (Cheryl Cummings). Wonderful brother-in-law to Thomas Barkowski (Andrea) and the late Arlene Engelman (Fred). Uncle to David Curler (Chris), Anita Seitz (Ken), Theresa Ward (Jim), Barb Wasechek (Rob), Brian Curler (Vicki), Jeff Curler (Cindy), Clylene Crouch (Willis), Danny Curler (Sharon), Elizabeth Fregien (Mike), Leslie Sylvester (Dean), Linda Schmidt, Sherry Bladorn , Debbie Pendergast, Sandy Bricco, and Donna Engelman.

Also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Retired after 27 years of dedicated service from the Milwaukee County Highway Department.

Member of the “Mariners” Drill Team and “Mutineers” Color Guard

Transitioned to the “Mariners” Drum and Bugle Corps

Became a senior member for the “Boys of 76”

Continued as a senior member of the “Mariners” Drill Team

Also enjoyed other activities such as Motorcycling, Billiards, Cards, Gardening, and Travel.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct 20th between 2-5PM with a service at 5PM.
