I first met Tom on June 1st, 1972 in the catalytic converter engineering offices in Flint Mich. It was the first day of my career with A C Spark Plug. Tom was working on a serialized product tracking system and was one of 6 engineers at that time and we were in Flint because the Oak Creek Plant we being renovated. Over the years we worked together on some projects, played some lunch time sheepshead, played some golf in the golf league and even went fishing with Jack S. and Tom S. One day he came in and said I can now tell you about a project I worked on under top secret rules. It involved the film control system for the early spy satellites which took photos on film, them sealed the canisters and parachuted them back to earth. I ask why he could now tell us and he said he figured it was ok now since it saw a discovery channel show about that system the previous night. A man to be trusted. I know that there were plenty of more secrets that he never did tell. Rest In Peace Tom
