91, of Hales Corners, WI, peacefully passed away February 17th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones
Theresa was born April 9, 1929 in Milwaukee; the youngest of seven children to Phillip and Lucy Fortino.
In June of 1951, Theresa married Sam, the love of her life. Together they had two sons, Tom and Bob. Theresa’s most important job was raising her family. She also worked as a switchboard operator, a Boston Store clerk and a florist at Gimbels.
Theresa’s joy in life was caring for her family. She loved cooking family dinners and always had coffee and cookies ready for visitors. Her greatest happiness was her three grandchildren; Tony, Nick (Jenny) and Beth and her great grandchildren; Alex, Nathan and Ethan.
Theresa was preceded in death by her siblings Liboria, Charles, Leonard, Joseph, James and Anthony. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Sam, her sons Tom (Kathy) and Bob (Roni), her 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours (7963 S 116th St, Franklin) Monday, February 22 from 10:30-11:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Entombment at Arlington Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zilber Family Hospice are appreciated.
