Ginster, Theodore A. “Ted”
Peacefully entered into Eternity surrounded by family and close friends on Wed. Nov. 4th at the age of 74 yrs. Loving husband of the late Kathleen nee Wentland. Proud and loving father of Marilyn Tim Robertson, Karen Moeller fiance Luke, Janice Ginster, James Colleen Terch, and Joell Troy Salfer. Cherished grandfather of Aaron and Amy Robertson; Ashley and Joshua Moeller; Alexandra, Patrick, and Charles Terch; and Benjamin and Ryan Salfer. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Ted was a retiree of Oilgear Co., where he operated as a machinist for 38 years and served as president of Local Lodge 1845 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers IAM for 25 years.

Passionate about politics and service, Ted, among many other accomplishments and interests, was a proud lifelong Democrat and a former Village of Mukwonago Trustee. He was a candidate for Waukesha County Sherriff and served as chairman of the county’s Democratic Party, both in the late 60s. He was active in the Southside Scholarship Fund, serving as the organization’s president for multiple terms.

In recent years, Ted was a member of the Greendale Senior Social Club. He was a longtime member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Parish, Milwaukee.

Visitation will be Mon. Nov. 9th at the Funeral Home from 4-7 PM with a prayer vigil at 6:30 PM. Funeral Services will be Tues. Nov. 10th, 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home to ST. GREGORY THE GREAT PARISH, 60th & W. Oklahoma Ave., for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and/or the American Lung Association are greatly appreciated.

The family would like to thank the wonderfully supportive and caring staff of the ER, MICU, and CVICU at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital; of St. Gregory Parish; and his many caring friends at the Greendale Senior Social Club.

Ted touched many lives in his earthly journey, and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
