Ulickey, Terese Debra (Nee: Gutoski)

Formerly of Sheboygan Falls.

On August 13, 2019, our beautiful wife, mother, relative and friend’s fight with breast cancer came to an end at the age of 60. Terese fought her disease with courage, class, grace and perseverance, never complaining and always thinking of others. Her smile was infectious and the love in her heart far reaching and never ending.

She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Hilda Gutoski. And her father-in-law Raymond Ulickey.

Survived by her loving husband and best friend of 34 years Chester (Chet), her sons Garrett, Zachary and Jacob and her step son Douglas. Further survived by her mother-in-law Joyce Malnick, step-mother-in-law Carrie Ulickey, brother Michael (Lynn) Gutoski, sister-in-law Cherlyn (Phil) Rawson and brother-in-law Perry Ulickey. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, many many dear friends and neighbors.

Terese loved going to the cottage on Pelican Lake, hosting parties for and spending time with family and friends, cooking good meals for “her boys,” gardening and tending to her multitude of flower beds. She was devoted to the Lord, volunteering as a missionary, usher, Stock Box worker and food pantry helper. Terese was proud to have served her community as a Police Officer for 27 years with the Milwaukee Police Department.

A special thank you to Dr. Christopher Chitambar and the caring staff of the Froedtert Breast Cancer Center.

Visitation will take place on Monday August 19, 2019 at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH (12300 W. Janesville Rd.) from 10AM to the time of service at 1PM.

    Chet and the “Boys”
Can’t imagine how you you all feel right now
I can’t tell how much I am sorry for your loss
Not many can say they had Wonderwoman for a wife or a mom. My thoughts are with you all.

Chet and family, I’m so very sorry to hear of Terese passing. I remember her kindness so very well, bringing me birthday cakes when living by her parents in Sheboygan Falls. The kindness and friendship I’ve experienced with her is small in comparison to you and your boys. You truly were blessed! God is taking care of this beautiful angel. I’m sorry I can’t make it on Monday. Hugs and prayers to you.

Chet and family. Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Terese was a gift to everyone that knew her and met her. Her loving ways, personality, thoughtfulness and smile were the first things you noticed about her. She brought joy to many people and our neighborhood. I know she loved you Chet and boys to the moon and back. You could see she strived to be a great wife and a super mom. She will be with you forever, very near in your hearts and her presence always felt because love is forever. I think she fought her illness for her family. As a mother and a wife I know you want to see your children start their lives as adults and know they will be ok and want your husband to go on and remember the love, happiness you shared. Know that Terese – mom is with our Lord in His heavenly home. Perfect in Gods glory looking down at all of you saying don’t cry for me for I am ok . God is taking care of me until we see each other again. Love to all.❤️

I remember Teresa from years ago when we were in our early 20’s and she lived in Sheboygan Falls. She was as kind and beautiful inside and out then as obviously throughout her life! When I think of her, I will remember her fondly! RIP Teresa!!! 😥

Chet, Garrett, Zachary, and Jacob: Our deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful wife and mother. I remember Terese as a breath of fresh air when she came to District 5 Late and develop into a good Officer. We had the pleasure to be included in your mailing address for the annual Christmas letter and watched you grow. Finally, I was blessed to see her 3 weeks ago at a retirement party and we all enjoyed reminiscing about the old times. May God watch over you during this difficult time.

It was with great sadness I of Terese’s passing in the Sheboygan Press. I was a young teacher at Sheboygan Falls High School and Terese was one of my first students. She was a beautiful young lady. One of the nicest, most caring students I ever had. I remember hearing that she had become a Milwaukee Police officer. A remarable career choice for her and what great addition she must have been to the MPD, Please accept my sincerest condolences.
