Tammy Ziolkowski
Tammy Ziolkowski (nee Szulczewski) passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2025.
Born in Milwaukee, September 21, 1970, she was the daughter of Patricia (nee Schreier) and the late Ronald Szulczewski. Her early life was spent in Raymond and Oak Creek, WI. She graduated from Oak Creek High School and later went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration from Ottawa University. She continued on to earn her Master of Science in taxation from UW Milwaukee. Tammy then held many important professional roles, the latest being the lead Tax Analyst, Domestic Tax through Clarios. Tammy continued out living in Oak Creek where she later went on to open her own business, First Class Tax, LLC. The company thrived due to Tammy’s personality, hard work, and dedication to her clients – many who became friends.
Tammy spent as much time as she could up at her lake house. Whether it was having the wind whipping through her hair as she boated on the lake, flying through the trails on her snowmobile, or simply relaxing by a fire, Tammy loved it all.
While Tammy enjoyed her lake house, vacationing, and time with her friends, it was spending time with her family that she loved most. She was a caring daughter and sister and a dedicated and loving mother – but it was becoming a grandmother that brought her pure joy.
Tammy is survived by her only son, Zachery (Rebecca). She was the proud grandmother of Colton, Courtney, and Bodee. Tammy was the loved daughter of Patricia Szulczewski (nee Schreier). She was the dear sister of Kandis (Jeffrey) Deschaine, Randal (Roberta) Szulczewski, and Denny (Emily) Szulczewski. She is further survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives, dear friends, and her 4-legged best friend, Tamar.
Tammy lived life to the fullest – giving 100% to every endeavor and everyone. She will be remembered for her strength. She persevered through adversity. During her illnesses, she kept moving forward. She will also be remembered for her kindness. Tammy impacted so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.
The family would like to thank Froedtert Hospital and Zilber Hospice, along with all the friends and family that have been supporting Tammy throughout.
My heart goes out to you and your family at this time of loss. Please know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers 🙏❣️
