Tammy (Heinecke) Kaishian

Passed away in her sleep February 19, 2020 at age 52

Wife of James Kaishian
Mother of Andrew and Max Kaishian

Daughter of George and Betty Heinecke

Daughter-in-law of John and Lynn Kaishian

Aunt to 26 nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

Tammy is the youngest of 6 sisters – Robin (Kellbach) Tsong, Julie (Kellbach)Noel, Kim Kellbach, Lisa (Heinecke) Dean, Laurie Heinecke. She was born during the Milwaukee riots and entered this world with a National Guard escort to the hospital. She was always the baby of the bunch but turned into the glue that kept this family together.

After marrying Jim their home has always been open to all the various relatives and friends, friends of friends, boy friends or girl friends, who accumulated over the years and were host to many bonfires, cook outs, table full of foods like madagh, borek, Special K loaf and haystacks and always – the games. Whether she was at home or in a restaurant she would always pull out a game. She kept all the cousins in touch with her boys and with each other. Her home and her heart were always open.

Tammy loved brunch and museums; she was the finder of weird knick-knacks, hilarious and inappropriate cards, and silly gifts. She loved a good coupon. She was the giver of the most thoughtful gifts too. She was known to randomly call a niece or nephew and suggest a field trip or just a meal. Tammy was truly kind; it was something she worked for, something for which she held herself to account, something she strove for even while facing tremendous physical pain and heartbreak.

Tammy loved planning vacations with her family that included destinations with historical background as well as entertainment. She was always trying to expand her own knowledge as well as her boys. She pulled our families and friends together through working and playing at her father-in-law’s ski hill.

Tammy knows that her family is in good hands; her boys have the strength, love, and support to continue to grow into amazing men. They have an incredible Dad. Whatever happens after we leave this world, Tammy was greeted with open arms and smiles and possibly (actually, definitely) a few sarcastic jokes from family there.

In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I had not seen Tammy in years but I remember Tammy well. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a wonderful “bubbly” personality and was always so welcoming and just plain fun! She was also a wonderful Aunt to my daughter, she would check on her and take her out to lunch from time to time, they had a loving relationship and I will forever be grateful to her for that. I know that she will be greatly missed!
