Arnold, Susan K. (nee Zulewski)

Born in Wyandotte, Michigan on June 15, 1946, Baptized September 7, 1946, and Transitioned on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”

Loving wife of Ronald Arnold. Dear mother of Dr. Kelly (Matt) Peaks and Sara (Eric) Herr. Proud Gramma of Sophie and Jack Peaks, and Masin Herr. Sister of Patricia (the late Bill) Kaiser, Thomas (Karon) Zulewski, and Karen (Robert) Januszek. Preceded in death by her sister Connie Weede.  Sister-in-law of Sylvia (the late Al) Kelly. Cousin of Virginia Bialoblocki. Dear friend to Sue Tinus, Ellen Toth, Dorothy Zimmerman, Mary Beth Scalf, and Dr. John Masel. Further survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Susan was employed at St. Luke’s Medical Center for 27 years where she helped develop and implement an Institutional Review Board (Research Committee) in order to protect human subjects. She was also an active member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church for over 30 years, where she made many friends in Bible Study and volunteering at the church.

Private funeral services were held, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.

    Sue was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing, she always had time to talk to me and was so kind. My prayers go out to Ron, Kelly, Sara and extended family. May you find peace in the days ahead. 🙏🏻
