This is to the family of Steve, my husband and I didn’t know him very well or his wife Kelly. We did share one thing in common the love for our children his step son John our son in law, first time we met them was at the practice dinner before John and Tracy’s wedding in 2009. Very loving couple ! We were overjoyed for our children’s wedding. The next time we saw them was at the wedding itself. This is so sad cause my nice died of complications to brain cancer and it effected me deeply 3 years ago and I just want to share this with the family of Steve that this effected me again when I heard the news he had got his angel wings and flew away to heaven. My niece was 10 years younger than Steve. We all here left on earth have a duty to keep on praying for a cure for cancer of all kinds to many people are losing theirs lives too soon. Leon and I are so sorry for your loss it is so sad to lose a loved one to this disease. You all now have a very special angel to watch over you from heaven, and may you be able to call on him in good and bad times and ask God for strength in the coming days and the months ahead to get you through the grieving period. Know that Steve is no longer suffering and he is with the Lord and is going to have a wonderful Easter this year he is blessed he is at home and at peace. God Bless all of you this Easter and the rest of this year.

Uncle Steve was a great man. His keen sense of humor and personality was contagious. His strength and courage is an inspiration to everyone who knew him. I will miss him as a friend and Uncle.

I feel blessed to have been close to Steve when he was in his 20’s. He was a really great guy and there was no one else quite like Steve. I’m very sad to hear of his illness and passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family, including Ted, Al and Jim Pharris. Rest In Peace Steve and thanks for the wonderful memories.
