Balistreri, Steve S. ”Bed-I-Q”
age 78. Passed away Sunday, October 27th, 2002.
Steve was born July 17th, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Joseph and Margaret Maggie Balistreri.
Loving husband to Elizabeth nee Torzewski Balistreri.
Steve married Elizabeth on July 25th, 1959 in Lanark, Wisconsin.
Beloved father to Joseph Kathy and Steven Balistreri.
Dearest grandfather to Michael Steven and John Vincent Balistreri.
Loving brother and survived by Thomas Rosie, Andrew Carole and Mary nee Willard Balistreri and joins in peace the late Ignatius Iggy Balistreri, the late Jenny nee Joslin Balistreri and the late Joseph Balistreri.
Steve is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed especially Margie Donald Verhaalen, as well as other relatives and friends.
Steve was proud to have served in WWII. While in the Army, Steve served in the Medical division in Normandy and Northern France.
He is retired from the Electrical Division of the City of Milwaukee and was a member of the Italian Community Center.

Perfecting the ”Art of Grilling Sicilian Steaks”

The family would like to thank the dedicated nurses, doctors, and staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Mount Carmel Nursing Home and the various other individuals that gave compassionate care to Dad over the years.

A funeral service will be held Wed. Oct. 30 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In state Wed. from 9:00 AM until the time of service 11 AM.
