I’ve known Stephen and his family for ever. My thoughts go back to the cute little boy in Sunday School, to youth group at Pastor Amico’s where we painted little paster oraments into beautiful things to hang on a tree. Overtime his family became my extended family, and it was a joy to watch him grow into such an intelligent, kind and loving family man. I will always remember fun times at our pool, taking the kids to the pumpkin farm, the wonderful Christamas Eve’s our families shared. I am honored to say that he was a part of my lifes journey. A man who accomplished much and whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in Peace and know how very much you are loved.

Steve was a special person. I thought of him as a friend although I only would see him about once a week while on my Discovery World volunteer duties. Just last Monday he had walked over to me and placed his hand on my shoulder, and we had a brief “hello.” Steve was always friendly towards a mere volunteer, and I’m sure everyone at Discover World will miss his grace. My God take his soul.

I’ve professionally knew Steve in working with Discovery World and his enthusiasm, professionalism and care for people will be sorely missed. Prayer for peace and comfort in this time has been requested for the family.
