January 13, 2020, age 92 years. Sister of Agnes(Raymond) Jend, Paul(Gerri) Miller, James(Marianne) Miller, and Helene Miller. Further survived by many nieces and nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis community with whom she share life for 74 years.
Memorial Visitation at St. Joseph Convent, 1501 So. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, on Wednesday, January 22, at 9:30 a.m., Wake service at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to School Sisters of St. Francis are appreciated.
Sorry to hear of the loss.
We are very sorry to hear of Sister Thoma’s passing. My wife and I got to know her when we visited the school a number of years ago. Additionally, I had a distant relative that was a sister in Milwaukee many years ago. Sister Thoma was kind enough to research her history and gave me a prayer book to give to my mother, who also had a relationship with the Sisters many years ago.
Our sympathy goes out to her extended family, she will surely be missed.
